The SGAYA Cancer Research Fund believes that research is the cornerstone to finding a cure! Historically, research for Adolescent and Young Adult Cancers has been underfunded and AYA’s haven’t been included Clinical Trials. As a result SGAYA primary focus is to support research in the following ways:

Each year we provide scholarships to Research Fellows working the laboratory of Dr. Alex Huang at Case Medical School in Cleveland, Ohio.

We know that without financial encouragement to continue AYA Cancer Research potential cures would not occur.
